i've just had a quick look through the buses and can't really find a suitable bus.

The Opera House is about a mile from Bournemouth train station, about half a mile from Pokesdown train station (if you are coming down from London way it is the station before Bournemouth).

The postcode of the Opera House is BH1 4BH if you want to look up the location.

I would say the easiest thing would be to get a taxi from Bournemouth station, will only be a few quid.

The club may run some kind of shuttle bus/taxi but i'm not sure, i always drive. You could try emailing [email protected] and/or [email protected]

PM me your name and i should be able to get you VIP.

Can you buy the tickets at the door for Slinky? Or is there a chance it can be sold out by then? How much again, £10, right?

there WILL be tickets on the door. I know advanced tickets are £10, on the door it will prob be £10 although it may be £12 after 11pm/midnight or something.

thanks for checking up on buses/cabs for me. atm, i'm working on the logistics of getting to bournemouth from london in terms of train times, fares, and someone to pick me up from bournemouth station to slinky...although its not far and i could just cab it. oh, and thanks for offering to put me on VIP, but i'm already on it, courtesy of your friend stu cox :P you're prolly wondering wtf?? hahaa....so i'll prolly see you that nite assuming i get all this stuff sorted out...

get stu to pick you up from the station then if you know him, or if you ask really nice he'll be driving from southampton, cheaper option too.

If you do make it i'll be with stu most of the night.

p.s. did i meet you once at PvD @ Gatecrasher, Heaven?

oops...i forgot to mention that the "someone" i was trying to get to pick me up IS stu haha. but anyway, i just booked my train tix and i'll get there for 10ish but i don't have tix yet...apparently, stu hasn't even got tix yet, so i guess it ain't a problem getting it at the door? us londoners always get tix early cuz we're paranoid like that...

and you kno...i think you're right, i might have met you briefly at pvd @ heaven before...just that one time right? well i'm the one they refer to as fi on these forums...but they dun do so very often because i'm anti-social and not very friendly lol

lol bout getting stu to pick you up :)
be good to see you (again?!?)

and as for tickets, slinky doesn't really ever sell-out now, didnt even sell out for Paul van Dyk surprisingly, although they only had space for another 10 or something.

Should be a good night, i'm getting moist in excitment :D:D

Wooo! Roll on the party!

Will be good to see you again my dear! The lift looks pretty certain, I'll give Jon a final thumbs up or thumbs down tomorrow. Are you planning to get a train straight to Bournemouth or to Southampton first then down with us?
