Hell yeah, dude. If I had one I'd redo it; remove the Acura and RL nameplates and replace them with Honda and Legend nameplates, respectively. The name Legend is more appealing to me than 3.5RL or RL.

Oh there is one car even more pimp than a v12 760i...the Alpina B7

I work with 7-series and other BMWs (I'm a BMW detailer) all day long, and the new 7 has got alot of electrical problems. Alot of stupid little things that cause the check engine light to pop on and then you have to go to the dealer to clear it. By the way, they've stopped making the 745. It's the 750 now or you can go totally pimp with the V12 760Li. ;)

The 6-series is where it's at, those things are solid. I can't wait for the M5 and M6 though.

yea i see that VW phantom thing a lot down here...they're out.

i like the 6 series BMW but it's a little too "divorced rich wife" looking...especially the gold colored ones with convertible. if i got one, i'd have to really spiff it up with all black and some sporty black rims. i wouldn't get a convertible either...black hard top would be better.

my friend w/ the 7 didn't seem to have any electrical problems with it, but i believe u. my ex had that issue with his 04 sl500 and he enforced the lemon law and is turning it in. he had that thing in the shop like once a month for all the little gadgets breaking n stuff. very powerful and sexy car, but it sucks when all the little "toys" inside don't work right. he's getting the new CLS 500 w/ an AMG kit on it now...those are definitely pimp, but i'd still take the BMW or Audi A8...

or how about the maserati quattroporte:eyes:

and another one of my alltime favorite cars on the road is of course the porcshe carerra or the GT2. i went to this expo with a friend and i sat in a cherry red GT2 with black interior that had red stitching...oh my god. i seriously almost had an orgasm sitting in that car. it was like 190k and i think like 400 something HP. my god...

if u go to www.dupontregistry.com and put your mouse/cursor over the "Autos" you'll see what i'm talking about...don't click it, just put ur mouse there.

Quattroporte is one sexy car, i see a black one almost daily and it always turns my head. In that class i would still take the M5 though, it just seems more sporty than the masserati.

Tough luck about your exes sl though, however i must say im not surprised. Mercedes build quality has in the last few years hit an all time low. I have less problems with a fiat then some of the people i know with their mercedes.

6 series is a great car, but its basicly a 2 door 5 series so i would still rather have the 5er, especialy since i always seem to have lots of passengers in my car and waiting for people to get into the back seats would take a while if theres only 2 doors available. I woudnt mind an M6 CSL though  No backseat problems there, becouse there wont be any :D

yea that was another issue with the benz...2 seater sucks when u have friends and stuff like that. don't get me wrong, i LOVE sporty rides, but i mean unless i had a load of money and could afford 2 or 3 cars, i would get something big and luxurious like the 7. i'm not crazy about the M5. i know it has a lot of power, but i just really like the body style of the 7. it looks like a spaceship.

another really sweet ride is the Bentley GT...my ex's boss bought one after his divorce as a way of saying, "HAHAH u bitch, I still have money even though you took me to the cleaners" lol anyway, we went to his house and he took me for a spin around the block...holy . My favorite part about that ride, is that instead of having some fancy digitally displayed clock on the dashboard, there is a little Breitling clock instead. it was so classic looking..

and i have to post this picture...seriously, i love the 7 and all that, but this car does something to me. look at that ass...  0-60 in 4 seconds...

what a generalization...

I dont really like the styling of the Bently GT, the 4 door version (i belive they call it the flying spur...whatever that means) looks much better to me. Good ride though, if someone gave me one i woudnt complain :D

And the ass on that porcha is  Im glad they didnt change the ass much on the new models, im not that big fan of those round headlight  Anyway the only 996 model i had a chance to drive was a bottom of the range carrera 2 and it was quite impressive (but i dont really like the RR layout in cars), so i can only imagine what a beast like the GT2 does  I remember watching the Gumball 3000 video and the Rob Kenworthy pulled with his GT2  I was just waiting for him to loose control but that car has an insane amount of grip.

And if you can afford a big luxurious 7 series (and i agree it loks great...finaly somebody that agrees with me on this :D) then you already have a load of money in my book :D

Japanese automobiles are the true kings of the road, judging by the latest annual "Best Cars" issue of Consumer Reports magazine, which hits newsstands next week.

All but one of the vehicles in the magazine's list of "top picks" in 10 different categories for 2005 are Japanese. The exception is Ford's small-sized Focus sedan.

Japanese vehicles also score a clean sweep on a list of 21 vehicles that Consumer Reports says it can recommend because they earned "very good" or "excellent" scores in all five major ratings areas it tested.

Germany's Volkswagen came in for particularly hard hits, with most of its products, including the Golf, Jetta and New Beetle, receiving ratings that were far below average for reliability.

Japanese brands, on the other hand, continued to rank at the top, with Toyota, Lexus and Scion dominating the listings. And American brands Buick Regal, which has been discontinued, and the non-supercharged version of the Pontiac Grand Prix won the annual publication's highest reliability ratings.

or it could be good research. sure, not every VW/Audi car will break down but would you want to play roulette over a $20k+ car where each electronics malfunction will cost you $1k+?
