a hundo, are you serious? 9,000 capacity....

900,000$ are u in kidding me? if i find out these show cost 200,000$ to throw together i'm gonna be furious

Ummm, *everything* is expensive for NYE in Vegas. $100 is *cheap* by comparison, really, for a 6 hour set. The other TIC's have been, what, $70-$80 for a 3.5 hour set?

The price is seriously no big surprise, and all things considered, no big deal. Just spend the $100 and come have a great New Years. :)

Man, and I complained about $70 at the Hard Rock being too expensive.
verndogs
for new years...it's not that bad
Boomer187
see, they have trained us to be used to NYE festivities as being expensive. $100 isn't bad. :D

and if they sell a few VIP packages they should gross a bit over a mil. but i don't see that happening.

Tickets are at a reasonable price considering it's NYE.
I believe Cirque Du Soleil tickets are the same price but not sure for how many hours.
It is the going price.

Why? The cost of an event like this has nothing to do with ticket prices. It's about supply and demand. And why should you care how much it costs to put on an event? The only important thing is if what you pay is worth what you get in return.

I heard if you get VIP, you have to pay for drinks after 2am?

Anyhow, show apparently costs around $500,000 to throw....that probably includes Tiesto's fees, lol.

Word on the street is that the Vegas TIC is going to be much more extravagant than the other TICs, presumably costing more to throw. I have no idea how much the previous TICs ran, but if Dave's comment about $500,000 for the Vegas show is accurate, then the ticket prices seem more than reasonable to me.

What I'm curious to see is how close they can get to selling out Orleans Arena. 9000 people at 21+ (instead of all-ages like LA) might be difficult to do. Honestly I hope they can sell out, but I don't see it happening. Prove me wrong, GK!

I'm assuming the Vegas edition will have more visuals and that kind of thing.

I think i read somewhere that the dj booth/set alone is 500 K.
