You should try Native Instruments` Traktor, that`s a great program, be shure you got 2 soundcards, then you can work with the headphones :toothless

if you want it for free, you can get it at morpheus or kazaa:toothless

traktor is good....you don't need two soundcards if you have something like the soundblaster live (4channel).
Other progs would be Virtual Turntables (VTT), Mixmeister or PCDJ.

before i got my
cd players and the turntable

i had only a mixer
and I used PCDJ RED
I worked with the mixer and sound bluster

worked great.....

I once had PCDJ 2, but I can remember that it was hard to beatmatch with it:toothless

I am currently using PCDJ Red with a pair of sound cards (but I'm getting an SB Live) and a Gemini PMX-80 mixer. It's great :)

I find it fairly easy to beatmatch, however, I feel lame for getting into the habit of looking at the bpm counter, but I will pull myself out of it!

I don't find beatmatching that hard once the tempos are matched, just need to get a feel for the pitch bend function I guess.

Kazaa is a beast when it comes to finding expensive sound processing software:D
