the question doesnt make any sense. why are you choosing who lives and dies? are you on the boat? if you're not then its just a dumb assignment with no real answer. are you supposed to be realistic? if the scenario played out in reality who these people were and what their skills are wouldnt make a difference, the strongest of them would survive.
it sounds like something the professor made up in an attempt to be clever (its not) to get you to think about it |
Yeah. I agree. The strongest. Actually no! I'm shifting from survival of the fittest to an act of courtesy.
The 3 women, naturally.
Edit, there are 5. |

that's easy
6. James, Seventeen year old Piano virtuoso who is already considered the greatest pianist of modern times.
8. Abby, The last aboriginal.
9. Horatio, the only person alive with the ability to read cuneiform, the ancient language of Mesopotamia.
sorry mom |

We did a similar test, but it was a hot air balloon and the other had to get chucked over the side (alot harsher in retrospect, lol)
was to see how well we could rationalise our decisions.
I pick:
1, 4, 10
Logic over emotions for this one most of the time.
Decisions are based on their ability to greatly influence the live's of others.
Mother = directly influences the lives of her 3 children, and also is a nurse, so has even more influence
Doctor = weak heart withstanding, the sheer number of people who could benefit from her discovery if she makes it outways pretty much anything.
Mom = Well, I kinda owe her one now don't I?
:p
also, rofl @ abby the aboriginal, I mean come on, that's like hammy the hamster or doggy the dog :stongue: |
