Agreed. Now you'll just get the already racist people become even more racist and stereotypical. "Uh oh! He's arab! He's going to plant a bomb!" |

| Hysteria seems to be the name of the game *yawn*. It's not necessarily that they have nothing better to do, but just that they don't want to do anything better than keeping ppls eyes on the bouncing ball while lots of other really serious sh[l][/l]it goes on all around. It's gotten to the point where even though I still live my life, and still think that most of american media is ass backwards, I can't help the creeping thoughts in the back of my mind of being possibly blown up every day. It's annoying more than anything really. I think the deal is that they know that they can feed the mid-western states whatever BS they feel like it but when it comes to places like NYC the typical run around won't cut it, so instead we get spooked sensless. Sometimes I wonder whether the real terrorist is the media. :nervous: |

Hey, i was just updating because I knew some people would care. As for myself, I couldn't care less. If it's my unlucky time, so be it. At least I won't have to hear bitching and complaining about my life anymore (both personal and career)
Probably not that lucky, though. |

...notice how everything is falling apart on the administration the past 2 days... cheney's getting spied on, carl rove's getting indicted, bush is... well... bush is being bush (and still grappling with katrina and iraq, and i suspect, hes back on the bottle too)... what better way to foil the people than to put a "credible threat on NYC subways"... it sure does put us on a "wtf am i supposed to do?" even if were cynical and dont believe the threat... sucks. |
yea thats just the way the american system works and its not surprising that they would pull this off, they've done it many times already..... |

| I drive to work so this doesnt really concern me but I stopped listening to the media after like the 4th or 5th false alarm. I will begin beleiving them again if something really does happen (god forbid) |
