Hello people so lets see where everyone will be staying.. will you be driving or flying? Any Hotel Deals that you know of? how far is the Arena from the strip...
I need Info on Cheap Hotels!!! I dont wanna spend $230 a NIGHT

| I'm staying at the Orleans(that's where the concert will be). I don't like it soo much but it's super close. 2 bills for NYE is cheap considering the Aladdin is 5 bills for that night. I hate to spend that much but hey it's new years. |

| For those of you that want to go all out I highly recommend staying at the MGM Grand in the Hollywood Suite. I stayed there for Ferry Corsten back in July and I must say that it is one of the finest rooms I have ever stayed in! The bed was HUGE, it was bigger than a California king!!! We had 2 showers, 2 separate AC units, a massive living room that could seriously sleep 10 people. It was just a tad over 1,000 sq ft. |

I'd love to do something like that if the people I typically travel with had more disposable income. Since they don't, I believe we're staying at the Excalibur (my least favorite of the hotels in that general vicinity, but still hella expensive compared to the rest of the year).
Split 5 ways though, it becomes quite reasonable. :)
Afaik, we're all flying. |

Orleans is a fair distance form teh strip. like 2 miles. maybe 3. it is not walking distance.

| In my world 5 miles is walking distance!!! We mobbed back to the MGM on foot at like 7 am from ICE after Ferry. I stopped at Mcdonalds and my friends ditched me. Some old white racist guy came in and started harrassing these three persian girls and they got into a shouting match. He was drunk. I just enjoyed the fireworks :D :D :D |

| you guys should either see if there is a youth hostel in Vegas for the real low budget people, and if you can try and split the cost with your friends going. you guys should try the Hampton Inn on Industrial Avenue, Its just off the strip and the rooms are relativlely nice, but anything on NYE in a big city will cost you. Unforatately I wont be going to Tiesto this NYE because I will be living in Europe, so if anyone wants PM me if you are going to Europe and I will try to give you as much info as possible. |

multiply that distance by 2 or 3. ;)
although on the way to the orleans from the strip you pass the adult superstore. Fun times in there. |
