I broke my pinky finger when I was 10, causing mischief in the parking lot of my mom's apartment building.
I had tied fishing line around every single licence plate of the cars that were parked over night, and when a taxi pulled up to get somebody, I tied the line around its licence plate as well.
I thought it was going to be pretty ing funny what would happen when the cab tried to drive away. Well as it started to drive off, I noticed the rest of the fishing line was knotted around my finger.
I scrambled to get it untangled, but I was too late...I could already feel the tension of the line being pulled as the cab got farther and farther from the parking lot.
Next thing I know I hear a snap. It was my pinky finger, and the sound of the fishing line both breaking simultaneously. It was really painful, but clearly I deserved it.
Now my pinky finger is bent all funny as I never bothered to have it fixed (yeah right, like I was gonna tell my mom what I had done!).
I also broke my thumb on the same hand, wrestling with a friend one New Year's eve. I didn't bother getting it fixed either, cause I didn't actually think it was broken. But the way it looks now, I'm sure of it, lol!
I have a gimpy hand. |

Funny thing is, by the time my finger broke, all the circulation had already been cut off from the line getting so tight. The pain I was in was mostly from that.

Alright here's my gimp hand...the screwed up thumb and pinky are on the left (my right) side.
Got a nice curve
You can notice how the knuckle is out of place
You can really tell how ed my thumb is here...that's me sticking it straight up, it just won't go, Captain!!
