Are women worse drivers?

inspired by sthus\' commentary last night.
so, what do you think? are women generally crapper drivers?
from my experience, i would have to say definitely yes. i dont think men are naturally better, i just think (for whatever reason) women are socialised in such a way that leaves them less confident, less aware & less capable behind the wheel. obviously there are exceptions, but almost all the chickies ive driven with are pretty damn ordinary when compared to their male counterparts.
i do realise that men cause more accidents, but thats not what im talking about.

Believe it or not they are and they arent.
Men have a natural and better ability with things moving quickly, and moving at a distance. We process alot of information alot faster and have a faster reaction time.
Men also have the ability to visualize an object/s in a three dimensional enviroment which wome dont which is why most women struggle to reverse park well.
Women however take in 200% more detail then men when things are slowed down a little and up close. They have a wider field of view (not what they can see, but what they can be conscious of).
Women also have a higher stress threshold so tend to deal better with all the noise etc hence less chick road rage.

lol! think congested traffic, they are alot less likely to try and change lanes and hit someone not seeing them there..
Disclaimer: None of this applies to asian women drivers, they are simply crap at anything to do with driving. |

youre so right tho, and i dont get it either. theres no way in hell your ethnicity is related to your god-given ability to drive, but omg, f'n useless!! one of my close phillipino friends says she cant drive \"coz im brown\" haha.

Yeah, women can't drive, they lack logic and they seem to be more aware of themselves then anything else.
Although, i guess they are genreally more aware of all the details around them, what with there ability to nitpick and see if someone a mile away is eating in a funny fashion ...
Anyways yeah, i've nearly been in accident with women, they like to be 'safe' but you can't drive 40 km's in an 80 zone, thats just not freaking cool.
In fact 40 in a 60 is even pushing it but hey, maybe its jsut a big conspiracy by women to not make sense and infuriate me.
Vote in the poll, i made one in the everything else poll, i forgot to put the option of women should be allowed to drive if there is a responsible male in the passengers seat. |
