Cheap date ideas? (free preferably)

| ok so i don't have as much spending money any more since my payments to my school doubled, so i need some ideas for doing things that are cheap or free with my boyfriend. he isn't exactly swimming in the dough either and lives off of student loan money and a couple of clients he trains (personal trainer). the only things i can think of are jogging by the beach and going on a picnic... |

| why don't u go a café on a end of afternoon with your bf and meet some friends ?i always do that usually i enjoy on a sunday around 5 pm as everything is closed here to sit drink a lil coffee and talk with my friends |

i was thinking of getting water colors too and we can paint each other's head shots.
as for the cafe thing...i don't know about that. i mean, we have good convos and we make each other laugh, but we're not exactly the type to sit down and have some deep discussion about life and politics and art or anything like that. i'm still trying to decide if that's Ok with me. i really feel like i initiate all of the convos. nothing bugs me more than being in a relationship with someone and all we do is talk about how much we like each other or how our day was...that's kind of boring. he's kind of simple. i mean i asked him what his passions in life were and he really had no clue. i was just kind of like:wtf:
but then he really thought about it later and we talked. i think he just can't be put on the spot with questions like that.
so i think any sort of one on one "talk time" can't be planned with him. it has to flow naturally. if we went to a cafe and got coffee and sat down, it'd be like, "ok so what do u want to talk about" |

| you dont have to have deep conversations when you sit down to shoot the over coffee. you can sit down with a few friends, drink some coffee, reflect on memories, make plans for the future, get opinions on situations (work/personal)...ask about places they've went to eat. |

what is with girls and this? you're the second girl i've heard mention this this summer hahaha :conf:
i mean thankfully i'm a good artist, but most people can't draw / paint and i'd be like "oh...it's...erm...lovely"...and then she'll be like "hang it on your wall because i love you"...and i'll have to do it and have this ugly picture on the wall :/

Why don't you body paint? It's doesn't always have to be sexual.
Go have a picnic, with food and the works in a secluded area and crash there. I've done that before. It was great! It came to be our "secret spot." Hey! Meet me at the spot at 2! Or I couldn't sleep and "Hey! I'm at the spot.. come up here" :gsmile:

no i just meant like i feel like we struggle to talk sometimes about stuff. i will bring up a subject and he just sort of listens and then will change the subject back to "us". i mean it's sweet, but christ... |
