Global Gathering Invades Miami!

Yeah so I kinda predicted it in that Ultra NY thread. Global Gathering is gonna be the first of many Euro festivals to come over to the US of A.
Sounds good but will it replace Ultra or will it be in addition to that:eyes: |

I was just talking about this with barosoap earlier. Our guess is that this will be the opening party for WMC and Ultra will close it. |

Sounds good to me.
Why dont they show some love to the other parts of the USA. A Dance festival at Woodstock would be pretty amazing |

They probably are worried that they wouldn't get enough people. I mean, i hate to say it, but EDM isn't really that popular in the US, especially when you get out of the big cities. The closest city to Woodstock is NYC, and it's still a trip up there.
It would be fun, though. I did a Phish weekend show in college, that was a blast. The amount of ed up people is a bit shocking, though. They should just start it Friday at like 6 and have DJs non-stop until Sunday. |

True that but Ultra has been succesful. So if the right promotion/lineup and travel arangements(shuttles from Boston, NYC, DC, Philly etc) can be done I see how it cant be a success. EDM is popular here in the USA but its very underground.
Also PVD I dont see why you cant have both. Although if they overcharge(price war etc) they both could be fooooked. Anyways should be cool to see what happens in the coming weeks/months til the WMC |

it just better not GO the way that Ultra NYC did (Ultra moved to NYC, show became 4 hours) - no offense to anyone who <3 UltraNYC but that def fell madd short of my expectations...

Global Gathering is Godskitchen. Also its not in London its in the middle of nowhere in the midlands. Also its a 2 day event.
If GG Miami is anything like the event in England this will be bonkers!!! |

| so since this is happening saturday 18th and sunday 19th, the WMC week is probably gonna be from tuesday 14th to sunday 19th |
