| wear a peice of their clothing and just look good...that's all you really need to do. just say you like doing outdoor like snowboarding or something...say you're very personable...and your strength is in your pants... |

dont spend time worrying about what you're going to say, cause they'll probably ask every question but the ones you've thought about.
your best bet is to wing it. thats what i do with everything, it's easier and you act more natural. |

Just make yourself sound like you're not lazy. It's retail, so they'll also want to know that you're sociable and friendly. They don't *actually* want to know what you do...those are just cleverly disguised behavioural questions. You'll want to sound like you're an ambitious kind of person who will take initiative.
I know this because all I've ever done is work retail. |

Oh, and when they ask why they should hire you, make sure you know about their company. Because your answer should be "Based on what I know about Abercrombie, I have the skills (make sure you tell them what they are) that you are looking for and I would be an asset to you."
Be confident and remember, they are the ones looking for employees. Keep reminding them that THEY NEED YOU. You should feel as though you're interviewing them as well, to see if you'd fit in/if it's the right job for you. |

i was going to say the same thing.
my advice : ask them .. "so .. if i promised 10 good looking asian guys and chics to pose for the new winter lineup, will i recieve a $10,000 bonus for making the initiative to boost AF sales ??"

Yep. Think of one or two questions that you can ask them that show you have a great interest in the company. |

| And if all else fails, tell them that you enjoy meeting new challenges and that you think you could learn a lot by working for them. |
