aye, a tend to do that too. i guess after gettin so fired up and excited when i heard the first track there was just a wee bit of disapointment with the next couple. but as i said, a really good mix. i think its one thats just got to be played full blast everytime to piss off the neighbours :D |

| I liked the set. Some really good tracks, especially during the first half. I thought you could ride your mixes out a little longer to blend them a bit smoother, but it might have made it challenging to get the 16 tracks in. Definitely noticed some steam lost, and felt like a couple of mixes were forced. Pushing too far from one genre to another, without enough transition tracks. A couple of step up tracks would be helpful, in certain instances. Overall enjoyable listen though, but I didn't catch the last few tracks yet. |

Dirty Fingers was kinda forced into For Sale just cause I couldnt figure out a better way to transition into it without killing the transition. Ring The Alarm, as said before was alittle out of place.
The Driller => Knockout => Du What U Du, is kind of like a 1 - 2 - KO set up, I tried to be alittle creative with the transition positioning. |

Don't take it negatively. I think we need to be uber critical of each other to help each other get better. I was actually really impressed, as I didn't expect you to put together a disc of this calibre. This is a mix disc though, right? Not an ableton mix or something of that nature. Don't take it wrong, but I've seen you on TA for a long time and didn't even know you were a dj. No offense meant by any critique. Feel free to listen to my disc and critique openly and honestly. It's in the same forum. |

Just finished listening to this set again and damn I really like it. It certainly helps that you play the style I am personally into as well but on a technical side the mix is a joy as well.
Song selection is as fresh as you get and the programming keeps the mix moving and from ever falling into plod plod territory.
Full credit to you mate as this is a dynamite mix.
Like the name too. |

Lots of good tracks, especially like Bleeep!
I think some of the mixies are sort of rushed, like the mix into Du Wat U Du. Otherwise good stuff. |

That transition is intentional, I like Knockout, but after the breakdown its repetitive, so fortunately, Du What U Du fit right into that slot. The same goes for the transition into Knockout from Driller, but it happened to be that the electro parts were so similar that I think it worked.
Anyone can do a typical transition, I wanted to do something alittle more creative when I could do it. |

all those saying the mixes are rushed in some sections need to understand that he is not mixing your cereal brand trance here but something far more dynamic and irregular. There is no choice but to cut in certain parts of this mix as the incoming track dictates this.
Have played this all week and freaking love the energy. Never lets up and the mixing is superb , great use of levels etc .. will be the first to download your next set.
Tops !! |
