Hello there everyone,
As usual, im unsure of what type of trance this is so if im wrong someone tell me so i can change the name of the thread heh.

this song is a new step for me, i used a different meter than what i usually use to make songs and i think it turned out pretty well.

c&c is much appreciated as i would like feed back on the song. I hope to get more than 1 reply ^-^

i made the melody when i was mucking around on FL having my keyboard input to be like piano keyboard input.

i spent from 2am - 7am this morning making the song.

enjoy & happy listening

Hi,

...well downloaded after an hour of flicking through server screens...

Startup, sounds like sash :conf: kick in is muddled and the tempo is way too fast... its to cheesy for my liking and sounds like something iv heard before.

thanx for you comments Terry, i dont listen to much commercial trance, so i wouldnt know which sash song youre referring to.
i myself get the feeling ive heard the synth line somewhere else before, but ill just say this was more an experimental piece than anything else. just trying out a new and different style, it's alright that the song isn't your cup of tea :P

once again thanx for replying.

I think the track it sounds like is Nu-NRG - Connective.

First, this sounds very euro-commercial, over 140bpm, lots of heavy snare rolls, uplifting synths, kick sounds a tad distorted.
The bassline is pretty typical commercial stuff aswell, dudum-dudum dudum-dudum, in sync with the hi-hats.
I can't really judge the mastering of the track because my ears are clogged up (got a cold).

also, not my cup of tea.

Sorry if the feedback wasn't helpful, really all i was pointing out is that it sounds commercial, and if that was what you intended then you did a good job of it. I can't really give u hints for making it better since it isn't a style i like.
AniG
that's alright.
thanx for you comments anyway.
