Getting rid of an old car? Where?

I am just wondering where can I get rid of my old piece of junk car?
I know there are some junk yards paying like $50-100 for it, but does anyone have any other suggestions?
It's still in a driveable condition, even tho I don't think it will stay that way much longer, '91 Chevy Corsica...
Anyone? |

| There are a few charities that will remove it (and part it) and give you a tax receipt. |

what's wrong with it? where do i start?
i believe fuel filters are a bit clogged and that prevents them from getting the fuel to the engine on a constant/reliable basis... and therefore, the car might stop and give up on you any time of the day.
also, canadian tire dudes estimated the cost of repairs to about $2,000 (all these chips, sensors, and whatnot)... but the car is still rolling without any serious defects or problems, other than the one described above.
and i'm looking to get rid of it for instant cast, and none of those charity receipts (unless they are more than what I can get in cash). |

I don't know what you can do with it...but when I was in Hawaii there were abandoned cars all over the place! People would drive them until they're dead...literally...and they didn't want to pay $500 to have a car towed that they're not even gonna use. So cars were just left everywhere. In July I guess they picked up 600 just on the island of Maui. People drive around too, looking for the same cars that they have and steal parts. Graffitti was painted on a lot of them too (some really nice paintings hehe). I took a picture of a bunch of the cars.
Anyway...sorry I couldn't help...just thought I'd share my little story. |

1) Go to McDonalds
2) Get 2 trays
3) Place trays under rear tires of car
4) Engage e-brake
5) Find empty parking lot
6) Slide around.
7) ...
8) Profit!
Also, neutral tranny drops. Fun fun. |
