So I'm seriously considering permanently relocating to Florida (I'm also thinking about the Carolinas or possibly Georgia).
Where in Florida should I move to? |

| So move to Gainesville - party in Miami, Tampa or Whorelando but Gainesville's a cool place to chill, pick up a degree (or two) and use as a home base. |

Tampa... its a big city without the chaos of miami... you also dont have to speak spanish to live there... close enough to actually travel to miami but far enough so you can make it to gville and orlando easier... plus its on the water like miami...
ill never live anyplace else.... orlando would be #2 for me... then miami...then gville, then jax, then others.... |

I should mention a couple of things.
First, I can't stand high-crime areas. I'd rather live in the sticks than put up with crime... but the ideal would be an urban area without crime.
Second, I'm looking for an area with a good economy... high-growth, good jobs, lots of professionals, etc.
BTW, I appreciate your input. Thanks! |

Dude i dont want to be a jerk but thats your choice man. What type of place are you looking for? An area to party or for a work force? To tell you Miami crime has been reduced in the past years especially when we had the chief of the Miami Dade police department, Carlos Alvares, present day our mayor in which clearly hasnt done shiet in Miami:rolleyes: well anyways crime still exist here like in any other place. Regarding the good economy? We are one of the poorest cities in the nation:conf: fuk it ima leave my essay to this point, lol. Its you to chose man the Miami scene is great no questions asked;) and also Miami is very ethnic.:D |

There's a lot of things to look into. I would say Ft.Lauderdale/Broward county tours the west side. There are some very nice community's around there, davie, weston, pembroke pines and such. But you will have to do a drive to the big places. Now if you got the $$$ you can live right in Ft.Lauderdale close to the beach side.. but thats very expensive place to live in.
As for Miami.. I would hate to move south of where Iam. Hallandale, Hollywood, Aventura, Sunny Isles I find to be the perfect city's to live in one : You got all shopping centers close by, you got both decent and extravangt living next to each other, great beaches, and in the middle of both Downtown Miami, and Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. South Florida unemployment has fallen significantly, and there's a looooooooooooooooot going on, renovations, bunch of new buildings, and so and so and so on. The crime rate has fallen significantly as well, so I would really look into South FL.. I side more to Broward County and the Palm Beaches, but if you choose one of the city's I mentioned in the Middle I think you'll fit well ;) |

well you're asking on a trance site so if a good trance scene is important then you gotta pick south florida. little to no scene in other cities. but since you said the above, i'd go with Orlando, it's really been growing a lot the past few years and if you wanna go down to Space it's just a short :haha: 3 1/2 hour drive to Miami
you might wanna consider West Palm Beach though if you wanna be closer to the action. |
