| I like techno a lot, but it becomes annoying after a while (read: when you're listening it for hours). So I combine trance and techno. I guess you'll have to learn to listen to it otherwise you probably won't like it. |

| Techno is great if your in a club atmosphere--tons of hard hitting beats, a hypnotic rhythm. Although it gets old quick if you continously listen to it outside of a club or party. |

| Mostly what I hear now is minimal techno which I really really don't like, to monotonous. Now, depends on how wide you make the genre, because, it all started out as techno, so things like acid and rave are ok to me if u put them in techno category. Actually any techno with a melody would be ok to me, but there isn't much of that around. Brooklyn bounce maybe?:rolleyes: |

I think mauro has had a BIG impact on the techno market.
Techno didnt really exist before he changed his style.
But i must say he still playes some great trancy/chillout beats like back to cali. MAURO RULES, and techno rules as well
i like the megavoices tea mix of back to Cali. its like a dirty techno version. I have it on vinyl. I think its hard to find off the web but if u do......GET IT! |

| i don't have anything really against techno, but i find that it sometimes becomes repetitious to the point of being incredibly annoying:o ...can be good, but i'd prefer trance anyday |
