| there was some bleeched blonde chick with a white top, kinda short, i saw her twice leaning against the sides of the club with this mad/sad face, just standing there pissed off...i swear she was the only person not dancing....it was funny to see that though |

She can't dance
Her back is pretty injured ( for those who think that SnowBoard isn't dagerous ... THINK AGAIN ! ) she actually told me that she has had a lot of fun saturday night. But she's thirty and she's been out of the scene for a couple of years now, + the baby and all, she didn't even remember how to dance .... but she stil love ferry and she wanted to see him at least once, so i inviter her !!

Guys, Ferry ing killed it. He started off a little too cheesy for my taste, but by ing god that last hour killed me. That dirty fkn electro kept me dancing till the end.
To be honest I doubt he'll ever be the world's number one DJ. He's great at what he does, but he's not the great-est. Saying he can work a crowd is an understatement, but I don't think just that's enough. I mean compare him to some other names and tell me honestly who's better:
Carl Cox
Steve Lawler
Sven Vath
...
Tijs (:P)
I kid, I kid. I just don't find Ferry has that special something that those listed artists have.
Yes, he can mix.
Yes, he can work a crowd.
Yes, he's good.
No, he isn't the best.
However, I am sure he'll stay top ten for the rest of his career. :) :P
By the way, I'm really stoned and I just realised that I wrote an argument to an unmentioned question...

cuz if it is choice 2.. you are in the scene for the WRONG reasons!:(
Cutting back partying is never a bad thing.. and partying sober is easy.. especially when you have a killer dj spinning.. who needs drugs seriously...
not to say that I am going to be sober for Preach.. but I am just saying that if I wanted to be sober for this event I would be no problems at all .. Preach = killer dj :) |

I fully agree with you! The music comes first and foremost! With a DJ as sick as Preach, honestly the drugs don't even have to be a factor...
And besides, if there's any DJ that could make sober partying a breeze, it's PREACH! His beats pump me up like no other, I'm looking forward to this event even more than I was for Ferry! CANT FKIN WAIT! Also looking forward to meeting you magikb! |

Still recuperating from the night. Trance isn't usually my preference but Ferry was awesome. The crowd was wicked! I think almost everytime i've been to Aria while a big dj was spinning, they always play longer than they're supposed because the DJ is obviously loving the crowd (and vice versa). I love it. The club was jam packed. Only complaint of the night was a few pushy guys probably from the hip hop room who pushed me pretty hard to get through the crowd as the beat was about to drop on a crazy buildup. Didn't even apologize.
I didn't meet any TA's, cuz i don't really know any of you or how you look :conf:
I think i recognize layloula (assuming u were the one on ferry's left in the pic) from the DJ booth tho.
Overall a very solid night. Can't wait for Lee Burridge. He's seriously underated. :whip:
Hope you guys had as much fun as i did :crazy: :)
