First, cograts to RickyM for his winning remix. When i started with this remix i thought the original was nice, but it had it's flaws, especially the melody that is getting far too repetitive (and anoying) at the end. I tried to build a better structure and introduced some new elements. I have kept the part of the mainmelody on the short site, because longer should be overkill and too repetitive imo. That is also one of the reasons that my remix as a whole is a bit on the short site (well that and a lack of inspiration at the end of making this one). Well, here is my little groovy version for you all to hear. It ended at the 6th place btw.

Track's fine, has somewhat of a balance from lows to high. I did feel that it got maximal too soon in the track. One other thing that caught my attention was the pre-delay in the reverb for the bigclap seemed to be too big, makes it more loose than tight, bring it down to 0ms if you can;

nice drums, lively driving bass and a really clean track. overall a great rmx romi! after hearing technological world and playing it a lot i look forward to hearing your rendition.
my only complaint is with the lead sound you chose... would have like to hear more of a sophisticated sound- maybe similar to that used in 'technological'?
never the less- ten time better than mine!

You had a good remix... Very pumping and driving
However, one thing that was bothering me was the overcompressed sound of the track... Try to lay a bit low on the compressor or limiter next time as it is distorting it a tad bit. Remix was a bit short, and if would have been good if you had increased the length...
Nevertheless, very good 5:40 min of remix material =) |

In the break it sounds like two of the leads are crashing with the main melody. Don't think I like the sound of the synths there. But I loved your bouncy rythm. Gotta listen again! :) |
