Australia giving 4 million

UAE giving 100 million
another oil producin arab country giving 100 mill...i think it was Syria or Saudi Arabia....
Canada giving 20 million
i don't really think theres a lack of aid |

| I am not complaining..all I am saying is until yesterday, the aid given to pakistan was very limited . I guess someone made an issue of it somewhere, UN perhaps, and got this to go forward... Good for Pakistan! |

LOL, I love how you give credit to the UN for this when it was the U.S. that donated more than any other single country (UAE is a composite).
Whenever something is wrong, blame it on the USA, and whenever something is rectified, give credit to the UN!
Perhaps maybe there was no "issue", and it just took a while for countries to decide what to donate and how, sort of like what happened during Katrina? |

Maybe it was the US, I dont know..... and honestly... If it is the US we are talking about... then I will also come out and say that 50 million is actually quiet insulting from THE BIGGEST POWER for their most prominant ally in that region. And I will also say that if they hadnt done so, there would have been a bigger back lash for the support for the US in Pakistan.

more likely the full scope of the disaster wasnt realized until yesterday.

Its funny how recently every major conflict involves the US in some form or the other.. Majority of the time US being the aggressor in some way or the other... and NO I am not blaming the Earthquake on the US.....;)
