I'm just pissed and frustrated and had to vent. Some of you know what its like to work for a bastard boss. Somedays its not so bad, but others its hell like today when he singles me out.
Let me paint a picture of my boss for you. He is barely 5 feet tall, completely bald, is without a doubt the single most imcompetent person I've ever met for the position he is in, and the worst part, makes $130k a year. I really wish I didn't know how much he makes because that is part of what makes things so difficult. Knowing that such a prick who doesn't have a clue of what is going on but gets away with it because his underlings do all the work and takes home that kind of money just makes me sick.
He talks down to you, is extrememly rude and mean, and cares for nothing other than himself. He zeros in on the negative and disregards anything positive. You are guilty before proven innocent. If you do everything perfect for an entire year, then make one mistake, he'll never let you live that single mistake down. He is the first person to complain when the internet goes down because he can't surf, is the first person to leave to go home, and is late nearly everday. But because he is the in boss, nobody says anything. As you can imagine, I'm working on finding another job. I've put up with his anus for over 3 years now. | do they ask for feedback from you for his performance reviews? it is performance review time at my work, and i had to fill out a questionnaire on the work of my boss for her boss. i like her, so it was pretty positive. but it is good to link a person's compensation to their performance at developing their direct reports... |

my boss has been pretty cool to me for the most part. we were watching the white sox vs. red sox games in his office. hes given me the company tickets to sporting events and stuff. i used to ride to work with him but we bought out a company so ive been working insane hours lately.
i guess the question you have to ask yourself is, is the work your doing worth the pay or experience (whichever one youre in it for)? |

my boss took the biggest surplus in history and turned it into the biggest deficit, declared war on two countries, and has taken more vacations than anyone thats ever done his job.

| my boss is a pathetic piece of . he works 6 days a week, 9 hours a day, no days off, no vacations, no NOTHING. one time he told me and my friend something like " oh yeah it's good to work here you'll get experience and start ur own store" or something like that and when he walked away my friend was like, why the hell would i want a life like u, i'd shoot myself. arg i don't like the guy too much either. |
