so, i recently got really into Bent, the UK downtempo/everything group.
i wanna buy all 3 albums they put out and, of course, each album is like $30 bc it's an import. but, if i buy from the amazon sellers, i can get all three for $50.
but if i buy from the seller, then i'm not really supporting the artist, am i???
so am i correct in saying that i just gotta throw down about $100 bucks for 3 cds + shipping? (i can't find it anywhere in stores.)

well, with most album sales there's a percentage that goes into royalties towards the artist. so you will still be supporting the artist if you buy from amazon

Yep. However, (not to start another music industry debate) only a very finite amount of those percentages go to the artist(s). So if you want to support the artists as much as possible, purchase the CDs from them as directly as possible. |

Plus, if you order all three cd's... you end up getting some sort of a deal i think and free shipping.. so its not that bad. |
