If mine sounds like sasha, I hath failed...

It must sound DARK!

I've heard sasha play that Nikola Gala track ONCE...but right after it he went back to melodic/housey/proggy stuff..

tbf...it is dark in between..starts of melodic and ends the same way.

sasha does play dark and over all i felt your set seemed to conform to his style. looks like you dont like to be stereotyped. :p

so i'll just say..good set..enjoyed it much.

lol, did you even listen to more than 15 min of it? :p

if so, i have a hard time believing someone would use the words "too soft" to describe it...

we interrupt this program...

ok you guys want some honest opinions of the sets, here goes...

RJT's set starts kind off kind of deep and grooving, builds up to some awesome electrovibed house, then builds back down again. i can't really compare it to any other DJs or styles out there because it touches on a few different genres but they all sound great together. the whole set has kind of a dark dirty vibe to it, yet it remains melodic and uplifting enough to put you in a good mood. the use of minimal vocal tracks is also pretty top notch in this set. mixing is great, programming is great... all around it's a set i really enjoy and i don't get sick of listening to it. maybe i'm biased because i hear his sets on a more personal level, and i see what goes through his mind and what is released by him spinning a set like this, but i truly believe that this is a great demo.

my set is more laid-back and chilled, not typically the kind of stuff i think "oh man this is what i want to spin"... but i was trying to create something that would be suitable to listen to at an afters. my main inspiration was that i wanted to create something with the same mood as Nick Warren's GU 028 (CD 1 especially) and i am pretty happy with how it turned out. since it was mixed with Mixmeister it's pretty much impossible to do bad mixes, as long as you know how to use the program.

clovsha's set was good but i only listened to it one time all the way through so it's hard to write an accurate review... it's got a nice dark vibe, perfect for Halloween.

but if you're someone who is solely a tranceaddict you might not dig these sets... there are no 140bpm PVD remixes, sorry.

btw mellow_head stop editing your post, i don't know what to respond to :stongue:
