Ok just another simple question for all you experienced DJ's out there. I have a Roland MC-505 and I was wondering if it was possible to connect my turntables (or i guess mixer) to it so i could use it for effects. And if possible how would I go about doing it? The only input on the MC-505 is a MIDI in. Thanks in advance!

nope... no can do. You'd need an audio in to use the fx on the 505, which like you said... the 505 doesnt have.

not gonna be able to pull that one off, sorry. you would have to have an analog audio in and audio out to run through your FX loop on your mixer. midi is a data connection only and does not transmit audio.
