What do you think of Geminis?

They sell those 'starter' kits (2 decks/mixer/phones/bag) for 200-300$. Sure they're not technics, but considering their price, are they worth it?

I know alot of people just say you'll end up upgrading them later anyways - but what if you don't have that kind of budget to begin with?

I've heard the geminis were pretty well built and considered pretty quality amongst low-end gear.

If you're not serious about djing and you just want to play a bit it's ok, but if you decide to take the next step and get serious about it you'll have to buy a new gear in a month or two. A decent one should be around 800 USD.

Those starter kits are mostly rubbish, but Gemini does sell some stuff that provides good value for money. Might be an option to you when you're low on budget (worked, and still does, for me).

if your looking into all in one boxes, go with numark...out of all the dj in a box things, they have the best quality (not that its much anyways..but hey :) ) Get used technics though, you will not regret it later! :)

Those of you who say it's - what exactly are the big flaws in terms of sound quality/durability/etc?
