trendy as in what country?
cause in the USA/where i live in MA, being trendy means wearing XXXXL t shirts that look like skirts and wearing pants that are as wide as the atomic bomb. if you wear a shirt that is tight or a color other than the typical Blue, Gray, and Red standards then you are called gay. If you wear sunglasses like aviators where i live...people will call you gay. if you spike your hair, people will call you gay, if you wear a larger variety of designer clothes and colors then people will call you gay cause youre not wearing hardcore band t-shirts. if you wear cologne by emporio armani and versace, people will call you gay. if you listen to trance and dance music, people will call you gay. if you wear a messenger bag, people will call you gay.
pretty much all of that happens to me where i go to school and live:)
its actually quite damn amusing...actually. cuase its only the guys that say that, so unless you really are gay, you shouldnt give a rats ass cause the girls think opposite.
