| Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they both use samples from the movie Gladiator? Which could explain why they're similar. |

| I was told that Cass & Slide didn't have their (the Gladiator) permission to release the track as they were using the whole lots of their samples.. where as Paris & Sharp used slightly less ? I prefer Cass & Slide's even though i carry Paris & Sharp's. Anyway, if anyone knows how i could get my hands on the Fire999 as they release please let me know.. |

| I like both tunes... I don't think they're too similar. They have the same haunting/mystical quality about them but that's all. Oakey played them back to back for his NEC EM and they compliment each other wonderfully. |

well regardless of whether you think they're not similar or not, they have the exact same vocal (i guess it must be sampled from gladiator)
i didnt realize that listening to the oakie EM but when you DL it the full version, its pretty obvious..
oh well. good track |

i have heard all of them i still love the original cass & slide one but the main mix of Aphrodite well damn that track is amazing as well so i the other rmx its a hard choice! |

| I was just listening to Oakie's Essential mix set from the one live at birming ham set.. it seems he started the set with just the haunting vocal of this track.. however, i have listened to both of paris & Sharp and Cass & Slide but none of their tracks starts with just plain vocal.. any idea? |
