Shipping Impatience (Why does it take 5 days for a package to come 4 hours?)

I just hate it.
You've got your tracking numbers/shipping imformation for everything, you go to check things out, and see "Oh Cool, my packages are like, only 4 hours away from me as of yesterday, by now they must be getting closer!"
Then you look at the scheduled delivery date, and it's 5 days away!

I dunno, maybe I'm just more impatient than most, but dammit, this is almost why I HATE having tracking numbers... Every time you check them it's just disappointing!
But meh, whatever... just ranting for a minute here because I'm bored out of my ing skull at work... and I know at least ONE other CORe whore is counting on this package as much (actually probably FAR more) as I am...

| I ordered a CD some months ago. It was supposed to be sent anywhere between 2 to 4 weeks. But it wasn't. After the 4th week was over I recieved an e-mail saying that it would take another 2 to 4 weeks. |

Man, that really sucks, this stuff is already on its way, in the UPS system and all... I have a sneaking suspicion UPS also gives themselves some leway on scheduled delivery dates though, just because now that I think about it, it seems every time this has happened, the packages have arrived 1-2 business days ahead of schedule... |
