Hi,
The intro is boring, it doesnt make sense. the digiridoo (if thatz how you spell it :conf: ) is a good effect but that section needs more work. psy bass coming in now... and its still dragging. Definitely work on the intro...
...sorry iv switched it off now... |

Yeah this is pretty out there. Intro is pretty abstract though I guess it could work as the start of a set.
Bass and kick combo is pretty heavy when it gets going. I kinda like it actually. It rolls along pretty well. Filter sweeps on the bassline are cool too. Synth stabs are quite brutal.
Mastering feels all over the place really. Most of the elements dont feel like they belong there. Snare/breakbeat at the end sounds pretty dire. I'd get rid of it. It sort of feels out of place for some reason.
Sounds like very old skool psy. Have you heard any of Hux Flux's stuff? It kinda reminds me a bit of that style. |

The didjeridoo could be more continuous, IMO.
Psy bass could be a lot louder. It'd be cool if you mixed the didjeridoo in with it some more.
Kick sounds a bit cheesy to me. It could be a bit snappier.
3:23 is pretty cool.
You're totally lacking mids. Find something to fit into that hole there.
5:00 thereabouts. Cutout felt totally weird. It was too sudden.
The layout of your song seems all over the place. It jumps in and cuts out in a way that seems almost random, and it hits its peak too early. |

heh really? i've always loved those really old trance tracks that no one ever plays anymore... (space tribe: sonic mandala album, man with no name's remix of octopus, heh that's classic), can't say ive heard any hux flux though...
i guess i'll do another edit.... mix it some more... change it just a hair. it kinda sucks... the bass keeps clipping if bring it up too high but then if I turn it down... it loses the drive.... damn soundcard...
ya uh... jex the didj stays where it's at... no more than what it's doing now the way i have it mixed it can pretty much be the only sample playing at any time or else it starts to clip...
listening to the division by zero samples heh by hux flux (patterns and colours!!) this is pretty awesome... worth ordering in.... wow... pretty cool... |

The didjeridoo is awesome
Lots of changes through out this tune: kept me interested. The flow is alright, though is stumped a little in places.
The bass could be powered up ;)
I enjoyed some of the randomness. Add some more elements & layer her up a bit more with some & it could add to the chaos. ALso this track is quite mono. Pan some FX around a bit.

totally agree, you could pan it across & either filter or echo it into the distance. |

hey xeno, ya, the didj stays where it is.... i had it stretched to like 128 beats or something like that and had the sound amplified, echoed and reverbed.... i've only got a 54 inch one... there is no way you can make a didjeridoo sound lower unless you extend it... but it only gets harder to play..... and as soon as i got into the cheek flicks... bass would clip on me... (in fruity loops)
but maybe i could play one more long one like that and put it in there... |

pretty original to start with a didgeridoo.. id love some didg "talkin" if you know what I mean ;)
ahh.. your mastering needs work :p some elements like the bass and the stuff going on on top seems to be not in the same level as the rest..
First time I listened to this kind of song.. and god :p it feels so fast and rushing.. guess its just the style.. I really like the break you made around 3:07. |

new edit... I took in a couple of suggestions... (distorted kick stays, ) ... mixing is still not that good... hard to mix a bassy sounding song... |
