anyone looking forward to this? They said that it's so innovating and but it looks just like Dawn of the Modern World to me.
the demo is wicked fun though! |

| I just bought Age Of Empires II a month ago. Had the demo for a while though. I suck too much to play online though, only random maps. |

i played it for like 40 min, then i deleted it. nice graphics but OMG so bad gameplay. i'm a big (or more like huge) fan of aoe 1 and 2, but this doesn't even come close. it's more of an arcade game. for someone who's never played the earlier games in the series, it might be a pretty fun game, but i found it very very boring.
i really can't say why i feel this way about it. i guess it's all the small, undescribeable details of the previous games that are missing in this one that bothers me, or perhaps i just don't like the new direction that aoe3 is heading for.
anyways, i didn't feel much for it. give the demo a go and have your own oppinion about it. i wouldn't buy it
edit: it might have been the even more substantial lack of realism? i really don't know, and i'm kinda sad that i feel this way, because i had tremendous expectations :confused: |
