A group of us traveled across country before I started school, here. But we planned the trip for months and actually traveled for over 10 weeks to see everything we wanted to see. We didn't just drive straight across.
Utah (Zion, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, etc), South Dakota (Black Hills, Badlands), Oregon (coast and Crater Lake), Colorado, California (Sierras, Redwoods, Lassan Volcanic Natl Park), Arizona (Grand Canyon, Sedona, Flagstaff), Wyoming (Yellowstone)...there's so much to see. I recommend seeing all of it especially cuz you're really into photography.

hah i'm a year (or two) behind you guys, i graduated high school in '04
i'd be a sophomore now, but i'm taking time off :)
and yeah, all those places sound amazing :D

| Yeah, skip Eastern Washington like someone said. It's full of nothing. Check out NWTekno.org for a list of shows if you're interested in catching something. If you're here on the 29th, there's always Freaknight but that line-up is sub-par, to say the least. |

| come to milwaukee. its the (Pre-Katrina) New Orleans of the midwest. or wait until halloween and go to madison. they make national news every year because of the vast number of drunkards who end up turning into a riot. i cant wait until I'm attacking the news van in a drunken rage this year! :p |
