It's based on lore that's been developing over several games made by Blizzard...
- Warcraft: Orcs & Humans
- Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness
- Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal
- Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos
- Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
WoW is extremely addictive not only for it's MMORPG qualities, which are much like crack in and of themselves, but also because all Blizzard games have this inherent quality in them that no other game developer can ever match. Quality in terms of art (visual, music, etc.), gameplay, as well as storyline.
I quit WoW about 10 months ago cold turkey. It was destroying my academic performance. I still think about it almost every day. :toothless |

no, i'll admit there are some stuff just inherently stupid to sport. but there are lots of interesting stuff if you know how to appreciate it. that being said, my addiction to Football Manager is probably just as bad as your guys' addiction to WoW :p |

I was addicted to wow played it for atleast 10h a day.
Well to be honest i got no money so cant play it any more but dont miss it a bit.
A short "HOW-TO" on how to get your friends stop playing wow.
1. Make sure thay cant play it. (pull the plug to the internet for them or some thing like that) :whip:
2. Wait.
3. When thay stop to talk about World of warcraft you can "give" back there internet and tada with some luck thay will hate WOW.
4. if it don't work just jump to step "1.". |
