Where to find rare/classic vinyls, locally or otherwise

Recently I've been on a binge of buying nu skool acid and electro music, but as I'm getting this music, I'm becoming more and more interested in finding some of the original acid stuff that came out way back when I was learning my multiplication tables, to make what I play stand out a little more. One track in particular I'm really trying to get my hands on is :

A Guy Called Gerald - Voodoo Ray [1988]
just to give you an idea. Does anyone know where I can find records this old, this good, whether it be online with a shop they trust, or somewhere in toronto?

any help would be great, as i'm completely lost as to where to look.

You can find that very track at www.gemm.com right now

Yup, gemm, HTFR.com (service is sketchy though), or local record sales...Denise Benson just had one on the weekend, and Blackmarket records, Ian guthrie, the dukes and some others are having a yard sale shortly as well.

I loved that track!

I have it on vinyl on a non-mixed compilation, I used to spin with in my late 80s DJing days. I'll have to look through my crates, and see if the vinyl is a keeper or not, as I will be DJing a retro party in the next couple of weeks, and am beginning to be asked to come back from retirement. LOL.

there's this other new site which is pretty good for finding stuff... can't recall the name though... oh wait.. www.ebay.com :p

seriously though, i aside from buying records to play, I avidly collect as well.. and have found some awsome hard to find stuff on ebay.. some original pressings of stuff that is over 20 years old and still shrink wrapped no less!

sweet, thanks a lot for the help people, and yeah, I'm well aware of e-bay, but you don't get the selection off of e-bay that you would out of a shop.

GEMM is the king - however, only buy from GEMM approved sellers.

(thanks to Jenna + Mike for pointing that site out to me years ago)
