Everything depends on the source of the recording...
128kbps vinyl rips sound like ass usually... while a 128kbps rip of a CD sounds a lot better...
But its true that saying anything over 128 is non-comprahendible is not true.
Thats like saying there is no sound quality difference between CD and Mp3 or CD and Vinyl... |

I concur, I happily encode to 128kbps if I am running low on space on my pda, and it is fine for listening to in headphones whilst travelling, I do prefer 192+ through a proper sound system though |
