i just listened to the ferry remix of papua new guinea. indeed it got his sound but its really a crap remix. it lacks the energy you can find in his remixes from that time.

Got to agree with you, I did not like it either. Just like you're saying, It has not got the energy of a Ferry Corsten tune on that time.

Ferry did not do a remix of papua new guinea.
The vinyl on discogs is wrong! |

To be honest, Satoshi's mix is just sleepy prog- a very lazy mix. Any 4/4 remix of Papua has to face up to Andy Weatherall's mix before I'll acknowledge it, which is a tough test. |

Well. I don't really know, But I'm pretty much convinced that tune is misslabeled just like you say. Anyways, I have not seen that Ferry Corsten has done anything like this on his website, No information about it either, So it's probably misslabeled. |

It is definately mislabelled! 100%
And so is that supposed promo mix of Matti Laamanan - Flakes. He never remixed that either. |
