Downloading Essential Mixes

| Hi I was wondering if there was a site where you can download essential mixes and sets. I am not sure if this is considered ilegal filesharing or not, but if it is please lock this thread. Thank you for you reply! |

You can indeed download them, almost all of the over 660 EMs up to now. I am not sure, however, whether or not that is legal or illegal, so I won't set a link here. Also you should know, that TA does not support mp3-filesharing.
But at least I can tell you where a list of EMs exist: go to themixingbowl.org and look in the forums... |

themixingbowl.org will have recent EM for dl in the forums
not sure if they have old ones. |

Not really. It was not illegal in the past because there was no law against it. But several (not all!) countries have now adjusted their laws in the last two years that consider even the sharing of non-commercial FM-recorded sets to be illegal as the copyright holders haven't been asked to allow it. So it was not illegal to share the 1994 EMs over more than ten years but suddenly it is illegal in some countries. Sort of crazy.
