RJ's post had me thinking about this.....
I remember in 1988 at a teen dance club we used to frequent (The Park Club) the had a dance-a-thon....me and my girlfriend:disbelief signed up for it because we were mad dancers in the day (pfft - still a mad dancer today :))
13.5 hours later......anyways out of 47 couples we came in first place (it was almost a tie) but they took into account the amount of bathroom breaks we had in order to secure the winner - it was awesome - we got our picture in the local paper INTELLIGENCER and free cover into the club for the year (4-6 bucks regular door price) and a trophy and a bunch of gift certificates for Sam the Record Man....
I loved dance-a-thons - and entered many as they were quite a popular way to raise money for various charity drives and clubs.....
Just wondering if anyone else had entered one before and curious about your experiences dancing your ass off for a good cause or competition???
