| Armin is Number 1 no matter what anyone says. I've seen every single Big name DJ before and no one has consistently put on as good a show as Armin has. He never disappoints. Track selection is always amazing, he always builds a set and a night. Mixing skills are unparalled and not to mention stage performance and utter presence. By far the most charismatic personable DJ around. Certainly knows how to involve the crowd. Armin is Number 1 in my book. I guess the reason I say he's number 1 is because he isn't cocky or arrogant like other DJ's( TIESTO, PVD...) he is by far the most humble DJ I've ever met. |

sorry man i didnt mean 2 offend u, a man who obviously regards himself as the godfather of trance. tiesto made his name playing exceptional uplifting trance and played to please the crowd who came to hear dat type of music. playing a differnet style of music is simply turning his bak on his roots, if the tech-trance style he was playen was any way unique then maybe giv it a go but we have heard it all b4. poor choice of tunes and then 2 play 1 of his classics at the end, dats taking the piss if u ask me |

| ok boys & girls, gather round & we'll have a story. It's about a world that is parallel to ours in many ways but different in others. In this other world, everything exists as it does in ours, only there is a difference. It's called opinion. Some people think that armin is the best there, others tiesto, others sasha, pvd, carl cox, zabiela, digweed or whoever and you know what ? They all have merits, it's a world where personal choice & freedom is allowed, and there is no need there for all of the children to argue and try to be better than somebody who doesn't share their taste, where everyone's opinion is respected whether or not it is correct or not. You know what we could learn from that world ? Everything. |

I believe that is English you're trying to write there.
btw. Tiesto was playing Tech-Trance long before he was famous from jumping on the 1998-2000 bandwagon.
YES thats right... he even had a career in the 90s.
His ambition then wasn't to conquer the world, but emulate his hero of the time Sven Vath who'd impressed him earlier in the early 90s with his diverse melodic techno sets.

Look at Ian's post above you. It's called personal taste. Your own personal taste makes your choice in music neither better nor worse. If you think that what you listen to is "above others" then you need to grow up and face reality.
I don't like Tiësto's newer music, but I won't hate on those who do. They're happy with their choice. |
