I say Math. No S. I think adding the S indicates that the word is plural, which in my mind doesn't make a lot of sense. It's the same thing as gymnastics, do you say gyms?
Hmmm, I can't seem to think of another example, but either way, Maths sounds wrong to me. So boo on the S! |

Mathematics is a combination of all mathmatical languages. When you say that you are doing math or the math... it is refering to one type..
Would someone say that they need to do an iteration or would they say they need to do the math behind it?
And as the dictionary states:

maths

Math does sound retarded.
I realised that most parts of the world say Maths. Asia, been to australia and they say maths too.
Them english folks say maths. So it must be maths. They invented the english language..so you friggin americans better follow suit!!:disbelief |
