Actually, the refineries and gas stations are owned by Petroleos de Venezuela, which is owned by the government.
I agreee on the point that if the US doesn't buy the oil, who will. Venezuelan oil is very heavy, and not all countries have the necessary technology to work with such heavy oil.

Well, that number was obviously an exaggeration :p But it's def. not the first time I hear him say that the US wants to attack Venezuela. The US has more important things to do now than invading them...

I wouldn't go quite so far as to say "greatest conflict of interest in the history of the earth." If you think so, I've got some books for you to read.
