I don't mind eating at McD's every now and then. My fav is the Big Mac, extra pickles. Mmmmm, just thinking about it makes me kind of hungry. Their fries when fresh are the best ever, those are the only ones I can eat plain, all other ones like BK, Wendy's, KFC honestly taste like crap.
Anyways, yadi yadi yada about it being bad for you, if I had a million bucks I'd buy a McDonald's, its a guaranteed moneyaker. |

There's nothing good or healthy about McCrap. I'd never eat there, and I'd much rather spend that three or four pounds on a couple of Subway sandwiches. At least you get what you pay for there, and the food is actually freshly prepared and good for you. |
Are you kidding?
Subway is just as much junk food as McDonalds. The hot sandwiches they sell are long life packaged meat and microwaved, served in fluffy paste bread. If you think you are taking a big step up by going for Subway you have to be kidding? |

Actually, you have a point, however it depends on what you get, anywhere. McDonalds can be good for you. They have plenty of salads and fruit bowls now, which are pretty good and healthy. They also have broiled chicken sandwiches (heck of a lot better than fried) which are good for you as well. Subway does have some things that aren't so good, like the meatball subs or the other hot stuff you mentioned, but if you get a regular turkey sandwich or chicken sandwich, that is only about 4-6 grams of fat (if you don't include mayo), it is very healthy. |

Whatever man, they say after the first year you start to make your money back within the first 2 years and the rest is all in your profit. |

Last time I ate McDonalds I blood for almost 3 weeks I was so constipated! :whip:
I stay away from that stuff.... and YES subway is a step up at least as far as nutritional value. As long as you don't let them cover your sub with dressings and stuff.

Oh my!
McDonalds is seen as the old stodgy food company, while Subway are seen by some as cutting edge or 'COOL'. They both produce and sell crap; the difference is their public image.
You are one of those people who buys into advertising a little too much, and if you think Subway is any better than McDonalds some help is needed.
You can't compare a dry chicken subway sandwich to a McDonalds burger in terms of calorific value, but that is not comparing like for like. A better comparison would be a McDonalds burger vs a standard meat sandwich from Subway with dressing.
So YES you are wrong, NO you are not right, isn’t it FUN to use capitalise words to try and make everyone believe that you are RIGHT. |

About 2-3 years ago I said to myself 'if this McDonnalds doesn't taste nice I'm never going to have another one again.' It tasted like crap and I havn't eaten one since. Every now and then (6 months or so) I will have Burger King but never will I ever eat McDonnalds again! :whip:
edit : Actually I havn't had a BK in a year so I guess I'll probably stop eating those too. |
