what I would like to know is why we care so much?? :conf:
I personally like both cities.. Toronto and Montreal can both bring it.. We think what we want and they think what they want.. no biggie!!
besides if I had my choice I wouldn't be in either city personally.. Europe is where it is at! :) |

hahaha.this is too funny. rivalry is what makes life fun. if you take it this seriously you seriously need to get out more and have fun...i dont hate toronto, but i love the rivalry that exists between the 2 cities. If ya take the record of Toronto vs Montreal throughout the history of the Nhl who has more wins?Check it out its not even close.Being that uptight is not cool..i suggest ex lax, and its mr dip to you...K THANKS! |
Upon further investigation, I decided to look at revenues and values of both teams by FORBES magazine (for things related business). From what I gather from last years revenues and franchise values. Toronto has Montreal beat, and the sad part is, the hockey capacity for the Bell Center is at 21 300, and the ACC capacity for hockey is at 19 500. With the Canadiens only earning about 90 million last year and sitting at the total value of 195 million. Compared to Torontos earnings of about 117 million and total value of the franchise at 280.
I dont know about you, but I think the owner of the Canadiens was wishing he was the owner of the Leafs. Ofcourse though, you guys got 24 cups, and thats all that matters. |

i love how everyone thinks you speak french cause your from quebec..i will never argue certain points about the leafs especially from a $$$ view.Toronto is the capital of finance in this country and it is normal that the leafs make more money..It doesnt help that the habs are the highest taxed team in the league...I think its great at habs leafs games that there are always many fans for both teams in the crowd. Its great to have a rivalry back that was non existent since the 70's
the owner of the Canadians doesnt make money with hockey he makes it by owning the Bell Centre which has more bookings throuought the year than the ACC...check it out. |

Read up a bit, and you will see the Wins Loses and Ties of both teams for the past 3 years, and we won every year. Im not much of a fan for hockey, but when I look at that stats, its obvious we've had a better team for a few years running. So in reality there is no such thing as a better hockey town because a) its a biased opinion and you cant take biased opinion as fact b)how do you rate "better hockey town". Which leaves us with stats of the teams to leave any room of comparison.
I just wanted to tell someone off today, it makes me feel all nice and warm inside. |
that is only three years...you have to look throught the lifetime of the two teams and only compare the teams against each other...not the other teams they play. |

I've been trying, I cant seem to find a database off google that shows lifetime franchise record of every team it played. That and im too lazy to keep trying past 10 minutes. If someone could find me a website that has all the wins, loses, ties of both teams, I would try and get some numbers out there. Otherwise this is becoming way too tedious. |

I always enjoy reading how people get such a minor thing as the people around them in a club dictate so much how good a time they had. Oh no! sweaty dude walked by! Night RUINED!!!!!! Yes, they are annoying, but if you were truly passionate about the music, then you wouldn't let it get to you, cause if the DJ is killing it, then that's all that matters.

Bang on!
all you hear is whine,whine,whine.
I can't stand hearing..
:D! YAY! SO AND SO IS COMING
BUT NOT AT [insert venue] :(
Shut up. Nobody cares. Where do these people want certain dj's to play? seems like every single place is a bad place. |
