I can't wait for all the Armin hater threads. TA's are about as predictable as fat kids eating candy.
LOOK OUT! It's the TA's running to bash the next #1 DJ! OH NOES!1!
|
We just dont want the same thing to happen to Armin as what happend to Tiesto and Oakenfold.
The longer you stay #1 the more it becomes about the money and not the music.
But ya.. I agree with you that we will get some good Armin bashing soon. :sadgreen: |

And just for fun, here is the the current list from TheDJList.com, which I'm sure will attract yet another flock of sheep to denounce any possible credibility it may have.
1. Tiesto
2. Paul van Dyk
3. Sasha
4. Armin van Buuren
5. Deep Dish
6. Carl Cox
7. Ferry Corsten
8. Paul Oakenfold
9. John Digweed
10. ATB |
I think the above is more consistant with what we will see from DJMag. I hate to say it but Tiesto will stay on top...only because the crowd that follows him. He may perform like crap but people that love him will think everything he does sounds great. |

16000 votes from 155 countries, pretty impressive if you ask me!
Also, I think Mark Oliver coming in at 40 is huge!
Good for him.
People have to remember that he rarely leaves Toronto which makes it hard for him to be higher on the list, even if he deserves it.
I think that is quite the accomplishment for him. |

PS, with all do respect, there is NO WAY Ferry, Above & Beyond, and especially Tiesto are better than Sasha.....
just IMPOSSIBLE, but i do understand the reasons why:happy2:
This IS a trance site, and it IS all based on preference:D |
dude, its a trance-based site. The poll, just like DJ MAG, is on who's the most popular/favourite DJ on the site. Technical skill has no place here...otherwise James Zabiela would be in the top 3...or 2...or even number 1.
And even though this is a trance site, I'm really surprised that Howells didn't place A LOT higher (especially with the release of GU027). He is definately number 1 this year in my books. |
