nic was a let down, boring, and not half as fun as his last performance w/sander at crobar

sander started slow but brought the pain, as usual. :)
also i was happy that the system wasn't ear-bleedingly loud like sander's past few nights.

Got in around 12:30 and straight headed to the main room , to hear Nic drop some pretty decent tunes.Funnily enough, the set he played was some what different that what i've heard him play in the past.Is it 'coz, he's opening for a BIG Dj and doesnt play the tunes he would otherwise want to. If anyones got a chance to hear him on BBC Radio 1, you might agree with me. Then again, you dont have too..

Then came Mr. Klienenberg...IS he EVERYBODY..Well I really think so...

All together a great night..

so true!

I'm a bit of a freak always wearing earplugs it seems!

I guess they also need an equivalent to earplugs but for drinking :p

One thing I love about wearing earplugs is that you can get even closer to the speakers feel the bass even more and not be killing yourself! :toothless

Judging by the shamus puke thread it looks like all of NYTA did get wasted. As a matter of fact, I did too, which is probably why i was nowhere to be found...

the night started off on a good note with a police summons for open containers. even better, i got lectured and cursed out by the police for telling them to go find some more important crimes. apparently, i learned from the police man that i can't talk back to them and that i should go myself because i don't live in the city, don't pay city taxes, and don't pay the cop's salary. so on that pleasant note, we decided to go to the club. once inside, my friends and i proceeded to get hammered. i only have a few memories after that. at one point we were up on stage and looked out on the floor only to see one of my friends jump up on a speaker cube, rip his shirt off, and get down with himself. at around 2:30 we "borrowed" a bottle of jack daniels from the bar near the dance floor and, well, things just weren't the same after that... 3:30 we left and fell asleep in my friend's car for 5 hours.

crazy ass night.. i probably walked by puking shamus on the way out..

:toothless

edit: did anyone find a pair of glasses? i seemed to have lost mine in my drunken rage.

Damn man... we all know how to ing party, for sure. But... we all got drunk and vomited by ourselves. We need to actually get together next time.
