Please, Swamper, tell us where we have sinned and what amends can be made to your greatness. Just don't take away the search. Anything but the search. We need the search. :( :( :(

The search wasn't always reliable, For instance, When searching for a tracklist, 50% of the time it doesn't find the threads, Even though they are there, To get around that, You would go to the Google site, Then typing in tranceaddict.com tracklist and the name of the DJ plus the date, And it will find the specific set your looking for, Trust me, It works, Especially when searching for tracklists to really old sets.

I've really tried to work through google, both for topics and tracklists, but all I get is a random assortment of unrelated threads, and few hits from TA to begin with. I don't find it useful at all. A number of people seem to prefer google, but I can't imagine why, and feel like I'm missing something.

Damn, I've wanted to use it almost ten times (literally!) just today.

This has to be as bad as coming off crack.

probably not using the right syntax, foo.

if tigerpaw can do it, you better be able to.

say you're looking for a tiesto set (date)

you would type into the search box "tiesto set (date) site:www.tranceaddict.com"

doing it this way, it is impossible to get results from anywhere BUT TA.:p
THE_Chris
What we need is this -

No search for all of TA except - Even better search for the Tracklist forum.

Problem solved.

Oh, and I don't know what problems Tiger was having, but I've always been able to find the tracklists I'm looking for. You have to remember that not all topic-starters write topics the same way as you. You have to use a sort-of vague search term. More often than not, the tracklist that I am looking for will be right on the first page of results.

i believe if you use the current google search via the search button you can leave off the "site: www.tranceaddict.com" part of it.

"tiesto set date" should give you the same results.
