Im not letting anyone borrow dvds from me again...EVER!

So about two moths ago i lent one of my good friends a part of my anime collection. About 150 DVDs. I just got them back recently and boy was i up for a surprise when i tried to watch them. Many of them have cracks in them, some have paint scratched off them, some of them have extra paint on them, some have coaster marks, some of them even have what appear to be teethmarks on them :eek: I tried them all and only about 30 out of 150 are readable and half of those only work for the first few episodes, after that they also stop working :whip: And the worst part about it is that, about 70% of those shows were still unwatched :(
I talked to my friend about it (actualy i yelled...alot...for about 20 minutes...) and he agreed that he will pay me back for the DVDs that he ruined but that still means i have to redownload about 600GB of animes becouse the jackass didnt even make copies, even though thats why he asked for the DVDs in the first place :whip: The geek in me is really pissed about this. |

I still haven't given the remains back. |

Actually you're both a bit thick. He loaned out 150 disks all at once (who could possibly need 150 disks all at one time?). And you fail to realise that these are burned DVDs. So it's not like he's losing a lot of money on this one. (Note that I strongly disagree with his presumably illegal downloading of that much material, but I'm not going to go into a tirade over that.) |

Yeah i let one of my good friends borrow some ps2 games and he ed em up royaly.
I lent him GT4 which i had only a week and was obsessed with, and thought i would be nice and pry myself away from it for a little while and let him play.
Well he tore it up and i cant play it $50 bucks down the drain.
Along with Need for speed 2, and mercenaries.
I was quite pissed err more like furious.
So i know what your going through. Sucks pretty bad. |

lets guess like.. what an average of 3 hours per dvd in dvd quality?
450 HOURS OF ANIME!!!!
thats like almost 19 straight days of anime!

Well yes those were burned, i keep all of my originals locked up and nobody besides me has acces to them, im not taking any chances :D And its not like he screwed up my whole collection i only lent him about half of it...still its a big loss.
I really need to find another hobby...perhaps i should start doing drugs and going to parties again, it will probably be cheaper and just as much fun. |
