aaaaah! i wanted to be the first one to put a review of james squared :)
bloody amazing night. jeff and i had an awsome time
it was nice to meet all the TA's there that we haven't officially met, Miss Julia, Kfrogger, SVGmethod (and his friend i don't remember his name :))
and of course woody, bas, tigo, the clovsha, other tigo and everyone else i'm forgetting cuz i'm really still ed up right now and my fingers are typing but my body is dead

Holden was awsome. really the best set ive seen in a long time. ive been needing to see a set like that for awhile. i (along with mr. jeffree who is sitting here next to me) we're blown away. every track holden played was awsome. mixed so well.
i've been really needing to hear a set like that. (oh i already said that)
james lavelle played some great tracks but was sorta all over the place with his mixs :D
really liked that remix of "In a state"
and the track he played before he trainwrecked into Evil 9's mix of Alex Dolby's Hazy Way

Ok, review:
James Lavelle SUCKED.
WRECK, WRECK
a bunch of good tracks but the flow of the set was retarded...he was acting cocky and killing the bass or the sound at inoportune moments, and he ed up so bad during one mix it was nuts.
James HOLDEN
I was weary going into this, because I thought James would just not sound as good mixing wise as some of the other jocks...but GOD DAMN! That boy can mix! HE pulled some insane mixes tonight...winding a record down till it slowed to a thump just when the next bassline dropped....SICK. Alot of great tracks he played, alot of new ...some a little too minimal for my liking, but overall SICK. I totally called MANDY - JAH :P :p :p
Holden rocks, he took huge swigs of a JD bottle while we all watched...awesome. And I got to tell him Balance 005 = best CD ever and he smiled wide and said THANK you!!! :D :D |

| so glad i took a walk on the dark side and i loved every minute of it!!! thank you tigo for introducing me to yet another great dj, , holden killed it!!! lavelle, should go back to dj school, he would lay down a great track and then like 2 minutes into he would somehow manage to it up, messed with my groove the eternity he was on, he was way too cocky and for no reason! then our little frodo baggins aka holden humbley took over behind the decks and just killed the 2 hours or so he was on. i kept looking back at tigo and clovis and was like, i couldn't believe what i was hearing! he was amazing, great mixing intense music, turned the jack bottle up a couple of times, crazy man. my only wish is that he looked up a little more but towards the end he played with the crowd some. julia made a sign that said some track from brittany spears and she held it up and he loved it and then i held it up some more and then all of a sudden clovis is going crazy and they are like it's the song!!! then i asked if he, holden would sign it and later he did. very chill. he just was amazing and i know i have already said that but we are all at bob's still partying and i couldn't resist the reveiw. so all in all other than the bull waiting in the rain for an hour and a half to get into avalon and the trainwreck formly known as levelle the night ing rocked!!!! seriously, i'm loving this dark side tigo you may have ruined me. even matt darey played some hard tracks tonight, he did a great job of following and what a nice guy, total crowd interaction and just tons of fun, we were there until 7:30 this morning dancing and dancing, tons of ta's were representing. met some new ones tonight, arfboy, lomelie, rez fun and awsome, plus all the usual suspects and thank you julia for letting us come over to hang before i venture to spundae before this evening of fun at avalon!!! |

| again can i just say what an amazing time last night! holden is just unbelievable and everyone should do themselves a favor and see him atleast once. i know i am hooked and will be at everyone of his shows from here on out! :tongue2 |

where ya from again? me forgots. yeah i pulled over once and was gonna take a nap but then I was wide awake and decided to keep driving. it was a crazy drive. i was driving Lomeli's dad's truck. Driving drowsy is worse than driving drunk! LOL |
