Singing Whale/Bird Effect

Hi everyone
i've listened a few days ago Solar Stone - Eastern Sea (Underwater Remix)and i've heard a singing Whale/Bird Dolphin Effect, don't know what it could be really :D, but it sounds great and synthetic  .
So i'am a bit confused now how to do it. I'm not sure but i think it's a Sine or two, Cut-Off and Pitch Automation or?:conf:
I've tried it today with Fruity and z3ta but it's sound more wired like a Science Fiction Effect of an old 70' Movie.
Anyone with Ideas, or who know how to do make this effect? |

try experimenting with more of the pitchbending of the sine and add maybe some heavy room reverb with some delay...
then again, i doubt it's possible to totally emulate a whale... the sound has a lot more to it than sine waves... probably some crazy modulation would do it but i have no clue where to go about doing it...
good luck :) |
