excellent work ricky, this one really is hard to place!!!
love the bassline though, and that break = :eyes:
a worthy winner indeed pal, love the way it only hints at the riff
everyone has criticised it for not using a yahel type instrument, but i wonder, would that have fitted into the rest of the tune? probs not imo, what uve got here is spot on ;) |

You really went for a whole new feel to this track. It's excellent, I must say.
I like the dark intro the best, but you didn't sell out the sound from the intro just to make it qualify as a remix. You actually augmented the Yahel track to fit what you wanted this mix to be. So few remixers do that these days. You deserve that win, man. |

Hey Ricky,
Pretty cool remix.. it has a nice subtle groove to it and your sounds are rich in texture.
Great move on the main melody - it was very refreshing!
My only point of criticism is that in my opinion, it took a little too long to build up to the break. That's not too big an issue because I was enjoying all your layers. But on multiple listens that might beging to feel too long.
it's a very creative and well produced remix - fine work!,

| Nice different track, but i think this is a bit too different from the original one. I was at least hoping for some elements from the original. As a whole it's a littlebit boring (too stretched out), and not that interesting enough for me. On the positive site, the subtile effects after the clap/snare are nice and the sounds are ok. The overall sound is ok, but a little flat, maybe a bit more eq'ing would improve the track. |
