2005 = one of the worst years for movies in recent memory

Blue.
It seams that the worst of the year isn't just bad movies but horrible ones. There have been a few good ones like A History of Violence, Serenity and Wedding Crashers, Crash but that's about it, the rest is ruled by incredibly boring and incredibly stupid movies.

Carlito's Way Rise to Power
Dark Water
Domino
Doom
Fantastic Four
the Cave
the Dukes of Hazzard
the Fog
the Transporter 2
Waiting

I want to watch Venom and Cry Wolf because I will more likely than not add them to the list. Into the Blue stars Paul Walker, it's likely up there too. Must Love Dogs and Red Eye were mediocre as well.

All I want is Saw 2.

Couple of good ones I remeber off-hand:
The Jacket
The Big White
Black (non-enlish though)

As someone I knew liked to say, Saw is a poor mans Se7en.

The first one was fairly mediocre, I think the second one looks like an improvement though.

Quite easy to improve on complete and utter ing garbage. Then again, it's just as easy to make more of that garbage. SAW SUCKED. One of the worst horror movies to date.

Let's not forget The Island - I think that bombed out of the theatres within a week.

It seems like Hollywood ran out of ideas this year, so they just started re-hashing all the old ones. Problem is, just because something was successful the first time around doesn't mean it's worthy of a sequel. And just because something was successful as a game or TV seris doesn't make it theatre-worthy.

You people bashing Saw are horrible monsters, don't you even try to tell me that you saw that ending coming.

The only thing I appreciated about Saw was the way it made me try to contemplate how one could possibly do the things that happened - to be put in that situation - what it would take to drive ppl to those lengths.

I can't even fathom ever being in a situation where I would ever consider permanently maiming myself by cutting, sorry SAWING off my own leg in such a haphazard and painful and slow way as that man did, and that YOU have to do it to yourself, willing, and force yourself to continue while realising what you're doing to yourself and while forcing yourself to get past the unimaginal pain you are reaping upon yourself (it's not even like you're tied down helpless forced to be conscious while a mad-man saws off your leg for you).

It's me trying to fathom such situations as these that give me any kind of appreciate for this movie. it makes me think things if find almost impossible to contemplate. I am facinated at my own interest in such unbelievable things.
